Hey I'm out of the North on Tuesday, hitting the road for Hatteras early Thursday morning the 15th. Just posting the route I'm planning to take this year trying something new, get to take a ferry ride, this route says just under 2000 km and 80 min of ferry ride to cut distance, ferry $70 for my truck and trailer not bad. Hope to see some of you guys down there.

Hey Jason,

May see ya. Jan and are are down on the 30th. I noticed your taking the 15 from around Meridian to White Plains. Great piece of highway but you better check the restriction on that piece. I believe its a no truck route so that may include your travel trailer. I hope I'm wrong.

I was on that stretch of highway just last week, and it is a very nice road. I found it was pretty tight though, even in a Subaru.
There doesn't seem to be any shoulder at all. This could be due to construction, or maybe it's always like this, I don't know.
Not fear mongering, just saying...
I'd probably go for it. LOL. Twisted Evil
Have fun!!! Wish I could go Sad

I read the regs not very clear but I think I'll be to long, seems like the total length can only be 27' vehicle and trailer, no problem will re-ajust and take the 95 and turn toward Garden State Pkwy from there easy enough just heavy traffic on the route. Certainly ain't going to chance it by having someone to tell me to turn around and pay a fine too.
