Kiteboarding in Varadero

I was wondering if anyone had any info on kiteboarding in Varadero.
I am mostly interested in the price of renting a board, as I will be taking my kites but if renting a board is cheap, I'll leave my boards home.
We are staying at el cheapo Tuxpan (and proud of it, LOL). That is 9 km from Marina Palace, I think.
Absolutely any information would be much appreciated.
It would be nice to get out here on Friday as well

No rentals in valadero. We were there in march and had light wind sailing 2 out of 7 days. Nice place but will not return.
