wind/tide info sites
I'm wondering which website is the most reliable for wind prediction in the Shediac area?
I've been using windfinder, env canada, msw, twn and windguru in the past but they didn't seem to work well for last Monday for some reason.
For shediac bay tides I've been using this one which seemed to work ok.

I use this site for real time wind updates http://atm.navcanada.ca/atm/iwv/CYQM
and this for tides
http://www.lau.chs-shc.gc.ca/cgi-bin/tide-shc.cgi?queryType=showFrameset&zone=4&language=english®ion=4&stnnum=1810
Other than that mainly windguru and hope for the best

Re: wind/tide info sites
Any tide chart for Shediac should work as the tide is basically a mathematical certainty.
Wins finder & Windguru are the 2 best, and the Superforecast & Nam12 are most accurate among them. They are the generally pretty close, id say 90%, but like any forecast just an educated guess based on a computer model.
The Nav Canada real time reads at the airport & updates every 10 seconds I believe. It's a good guide, but is far enough from Shediac that several factors can throw it off a bit such as topography, weather system size etc.
Wish I had a better answer, sometimes the forecasts is just off a bit.

Re: wind/tide info sites
Thanks guys. I'll bookmark those. Tomorrow might be good.
Lets see if these predictions for wind hold up
env canada in land: 20-40km SW noon - ?
env canada marine: 20-25kts SW all day
MSW: 25km SW 3pm - dark
TWN: 25km SW in afternoon
Windfinder: 12-27kts SW from noon til 9pm or so
Wind guru: 10-22kts SW all day
Tides:
Tide forecast:4am high, 8pm low
FO: same
Oh.. I like how the out going tide has two delays of what looks like about an hour maybe? And the 2nd delay the tide actually switches direction and comes back in for a bit. Tomorrows tide spends almost 16hrs going out and then takes about 8hrs to come back in
