North Winds in Shediac?

Hi folks, I'm new to the area and it is my first season here. Winds in the summer have been light/moderate and SW mostly... offshore.

Can someone help me understand the North wind patterns for Shediac? Should we expect to see more north wind days in the fall? Do they generally only blow in storms? If not, what conditions setup for north winds? (i.e. cold air moving in while water is still warm etc....(.

We typically see more north winds in the spring and fall. But I would probably still say that the winds out here a dominantly South and West.
They do not only happen in storms, sometimes we just get north winds. I don't know what leads up to them, I just check the forecast and go to the appropriate spot. We are lucky that we have nice spots in all direction that are in a reasonable driving distance.

Thanks MolsonH. I'm in Cap Brule so North, West or East works... anything with South in it is possible but have to walk to the marsh on either end.

Where are the best South spots in the area?

I live in Shediac and it's definitely worth the drive to Grande Digue for all the south winds. http://www.darksidekites.ca/local.html
