Here are some photos

Photos I took today of the destruction at Cap de Cocagne. They got it pretty hard and it's sad to see all their work destroyed. There is a new sandbar that runs 45 from the corner of the beach out a few hundred yards. Inside of this, there is a shallow (1-2') pool with great flat water.

The entire dune separating the beach & lawn is gone and it's beach right up to the buildings. Be careful if you ride, as there is a lot of debris still on the upper portions of the beach.

Maybe we can get something together to help out clear some crap on a sunny no wind day...

How was the session?

Wow I went to check out Daiquiris today! There is a lot of junk/debris all over We almost don't even have a spot to put down our kites. It was high tide and the pool was filled with no sandbars out of the water at all.

Was this caused by the storm last December?

Yeah, the whole coast was ravaged... enough to make you reconsider water front property
